Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix sesqui- denotes “one and a half”; with the addition of the suffix -ianism denoting “a formalised belief”, the result is “the belief that the scope window will closure sometime before midway through the 22nd century” when taken from the perspective of when sesquianism was first theorised at the beginning of the 21st century.
